Passenger Bus Hurtles-off Cliff in Ethiopia; 38 Killed, 10 Injured
A passenger bus hurtled off a cliff in Legambo, Amhara, in northern Ethiopia, on March 12th. At least 38 people were killed in the accident, while another 10 people sustained injuries of various intensities. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
At Least 10 Killed After Bus Collides with Lorry in Kenya
A bus collided with a lorry on Bangal-Ukasi Road in Tana River County, Kenya, on August 29th. The bus was heading from Wajir to Nairobi when it collided with the lorry coming from the opposite direction. At least ten people were killed in the crash. Several others were injured and were taken to hospitals.
Bus Crashes in Egypt; 14 Dead, 42 Injured
A tourist bus fell off a bridge in Beni Suef province of Egypt, on August 29th. Authorities said the bus collided with a pickup truck before plunging off the bridge. Fourteen people were killed in the crash. Forty-two others were injured and were taken to hospitals.
At Least 18 Dead After Bus Crashes in Russia
A bus plunged into the Black Sea in Krasnodar region of Russia, on August 25th. The bus was carrying construction workers when it plunged into the sea, near the village of Volna. At least eighteen people were killed in the crash. Eight others were injured. The cause of accident is being investigated.
Buses Collide in Bangladesh; 5 Killed, 20 Injured
Two buses collided head-on in Sujanagar upazila of Pabna, Bangladesh, on August 22nd. The accident happened on the Pabna-Dhaka highway in the Chinkhura Bazar area. At least five people were killed in the accident. Twenty others were injured and were taken to Pabna General Hospital.
Passenger Train Crashes in India; At Least 23 Killed, Over 100 Injured
A passenger train derailed in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India, on August 19th. The accident happened when the Kalinga-Utkal Express train was en-route from Puri, Odisha, to Haridwar, Uttarakhand. At least twenty-three people were killed in the crash. Over a hundred others were injured. The accident is under investigation.

A 2005 model Chevrolet Aveo crashed into a Pace bus at Wentworth near 6th Avenue in Phoenix, Dolton, Illinois, on the night of August 4th.
