Passenger Bus Hurtles-off Cliff in Ethiopia; 38 Killed, 10 Injured
A passenger bus hurtled off a cliff in Legambo, Amhara, in northern Ethiopia, on March 12th. At least 38 people were killed in the accident, while another 10 people sustained injuries of various intensities. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
At Least 18 Dead After Bus Crashes in Russia
A bus plunged into the Black Sea in Krasnodar region of Russia, on August 25th. The bus was carrying construction workers when it plunged into the sea, near the village of Volna. At least eighteen people were killed in the crash. Eight others were injured. The cause of accident is being investigated.
Passenger Train Crashes in India; At Least 23 Killed, Over 100 Injured
A passenger train derailed in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India, on August 19th. The accident happened when the Kalinga-Utkal Express train was en-route from Puri, Odisha, to Haridwar, Uttarakhand. At least twenty-three people were killed in the crash. Over a hundred others were injured. The accident is under investigation.

Bus Hits Car in Indiana; 3 Killed, 1 Injured
A bus crashed into a car from behind along the southern Indiana highway near Bloomington, Indiana, on the afternoon of July 22nd. The crash caused a chain reaction at the highway, involving other vehicles. At least three people lost their lives in the crash while a baby was injured. The crash remains under investigation.

Train Hits Vehicle in Maryland; 1 Killed
A vehicle got struck by a CSX freight train on U.S. Route 1 at the 11500 block of Baltimore Avenue, in Beltsville, Maryland, on July 4th. According to witnesses, the vehicle went onto the train tracks and got hit. One person was killed in the crash. Identity of the deceased has not been disclosed yet. The police are investigating.
