A produced water pipeline ruptured near Mandaree on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation, North Dakota. Tribal authorities said on May 8 that around 220,000 gallons of produced water had been leaked in a field. However, it is believed that the brine did not cause any direct harm to major water bodies.
