Train Derails Near Barcelona; 1 Dead, 44 Injured

A train derailed outside Barcelona, Spain, on November 20th. Authorities believe that a landslide caused the crash between the towns of Terrassa and Manresa. One person was killed in the crash while forty-four others were injured.
Dozens Injured as Double-Decker Train Crashes in Spain

A commuter train crashed into a track buffer at a station near Madrid, Spain, on December 22nd. The accident happened as the double-decker commuter train approached the end of a track at Alcala de Henares station. Around forty people were injured in the accident. 2 Killed, 46 Injured in Spain Bus Crash

A bus crashed into a truck near Montoro in Cordoba province of Spain, on June 5th. The accident happened when the bus was transporting 55 people, including 31 Moroccans, from the port of Algeciras to Madrid, Spain. Two people, including the driver and another Spaniard, were killed in the accident. Forty-six others were injured.
Cars Crash on Highway in Spain; 7 Killed, 1 Injured

Two cars crashed into each other on a highway near Figueres, Catalonia, Spain, on April 2nd. According to sources, one of the cars was carrying 5 Frenchmen who were travelling at a high speed, and crashed into another car on the highway. At least 7 people were killed in the crash. One car driver was injured. He was taken to hospital.
