Train Crashes into Truck in Italy; 2 Killed, 20 Injured

A train crashed into a truck just outside Turin in northern Italy, on May 23rd. The accident happened when the regional train 10027 was heading from Turin to Ivrea, Italy. At least two people were killed in the accident, including the train driver and a technician. Twenty others were injured and were taken to hospitals.

According to sources, the trains were going in opposite directions on the same track, which resulted in the crash. More than 70 people sustained injuries of various intensities.
