Bus Crashes on University Campus in Tehran; 10 Dead, 27 Injured
A bus overturned on the campus of Islamic Azad University in Tehran, Iran, on December 25th. The accident happened on the university’s science research campus when the bus was transporting students. Ten people were killed in the crash. Twenty-seven others were injured.
Metro Trains Crash in Iran; 48 Injured
Two Metro trains collided with each other at Tarasht station in Tehran, Iran, on June 6. At least 48 people sustained injuries in the crash. The injured were taken to hospital. The accident remains under investigation.
Thirty Injured after Train Crashes into Truck in Iran
A train crashed into a truck near Behshahr in Mazandaran Province of Iran, on July 22nd. The accident happened when the intercity passenger train was carrying about 150 passengers. Thirty passengers were injured in the accident. They were taken to hospitals in Galoogah and Behshahr.

Forty-four passengers died, and thirty-nine were wounded when two Scania buses collided and caught fire near Tehran. Both buses caught on fire on impact.
