10 Killed, 25 Injured in Egypt Bus Crash
A bus collided with a truck on Alexandria-Marsa Matrouh highway in Egypt, on July 12th. Authorities said the bus was speeding when it crashed into the goods vehicle at the 95th kilometer of the highway. Ten people were killed in the crash. Twenty-five others were injured.
At Least 22 Bulgarians Injured in Egypt Bus Crash
A tourist bus overturned in Marsa Alam, Egypt, on March 19th. The accident happened when the bus was carrying around forty Bulgarians. At least twenty-two people were injured in the accident.
Bus Crashes in Egypt; 14 Dead, 42 Injured
A tourist bus fell off a bridge in Beni Suef province of Egypt, on August 29th. Authorities said the bus collided with a pickup truck before plunging off the bridge. Fourteen people were killed in the crash. Forty-two others were injured and were taken to hospitals.
Train-Car Crash in Egypt; 3 Killed
A train crashed into a car on railroad tracks near the train station in Al-Ayyat, Egypt, on December 31st. According to sources, the train was travelling from Cairo to Al-Fayoum, when the car unexpectedly crossed its path. At least 3 people were killed whereas, no injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation.
Over 160 Die as Migrant Boat Sank Off Egyptian Coast
A boat carrying migrants capsized 8 miles off Egyptian coast on September 21st. The incident happened when the boat was transporting hundreds of migrants of several nationalities to Italy. More than 160 dead bodies were recovered from the waters. The incident is being investigated.
Train Derailed in Egypt; 5 Killed, 27 Injured
A train derailed and had three of its cars crashed in Al-Ayat, Cairo, Egypt, on September 7th. At least 5 passengers were killed in the crash whereas 27 suffered injuries of varying intensities. The injured were taken to hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

A train derailed after colliding with a truck in Aswan, Egypt, on April 17th. A train ran off the track and collided into a barrier in Beni Suef, Egypt, on the morning of February 11. According to sources, the train’s brakes failed midway, leading it to derail and crash. At least 70 people sustained injuries in the crash. The injured were taken to hospitals.
Egypt Bus Crash Kills 11, Injures 11
A bus overturned while travelling on the ring road in Hurghada, Egypt, on June 14. As per the initial investigation, the passenger bus turned over due to high speed. At least 11 people were killed in the crash. Authorities said 11 others were injured and were taken to local hospitals.
12 Dead, 6 Injured after Minibus Collided with Truck in Egypt
A minibus collided with a truck near Wadi Natrun in Egypt, on June 14. According to local security director Maj. Gen. Mohamed Ismail, the accident happened when the truck was hauling construction material. Twelve people were killed in the accident. Another 6 were injured.
