Truck Hits Bus in Southeastern Brazil; 21 Killed, 20 Injured
A truck carrying granite crashed into a bus in the southeastern Brazil on June 23rd. The bus caught fire right after the crash and broke into half. At least twenty-one people lost their lives while more than twenty sustained injuries and burns. The incident remains under police investigation.
Bus Crashes into Truck in Brazil; 4 Killed, 43 Injured
A bus crashed into a truck in Mogi Guacu, Sao Paulo, Brazil, on the night of September 25th. According to sources, the bus was carrying pilgrims at the time of the crash. At least 4 people were killed whereas 43 others suffered injuries of varying intensities. The injured were taken to hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
Bus Crashes in Brazil; At Least 16 Killed, 20 Injured
A bus veered off road and crashed near Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil, on June 8th. According to Police inspector Fabio Pierri, the bus was apparently speeding while taking a curve on the highway. At least 16 people, including the driver, were killed in the accident while 20 others were injured. Most of the passengers were university students.
Bus Crashes into Tree in Brazil after Men in Car Fire Shots; 10 Killed, 24 Injured
A bus lost control and crashed into a tree in Parana, Brazil, on the morning of April 9th. According to sources, the bus was travelling to Paraguay when few men in a car opened fire on the bus to make it stop, causing the driver to lose control and hit a tree. Six Killed as Buses Collide in Southern Brazil
Two buses collided in the Engenheiro Beltrão region of Parana, Brazil, on January 6. Authorities said two trucks were also involved in the accident that occurred at kilometer 203 of highway PR-082. Six people were killed in the accident while several others were injured. The accident is being investigated.
