3 Dead, 10 Injured after Trains Collide in Belgium
A high-speed train crashed into a freight train in Hermalle-Sous-Huy, Engis, Belgium, on June 6th. Authorities said two cars of the high-speed passenger train derailed after it rear-ended the slow moving freight train. Three people were killed in the accident while ten others were injured. The accident is being investigated.
Car Transport Derailed
A train accident in Remersdaal at the entrance to Belgium's longest freight tunnel scattered cars everywhere. A vehicle transporter derailed. Three wagons spilled their loads. 40 cars were damaged in the incident. No one was injured except the driver of the train, who is in shock.

A train derailment in Belgium between Schellebelle and Wetteren on May 4, 2013, left one person dead and 17 injured. 350 residents were evacuated due to the toxicity of the chemicals that the SNCB Logistics train was carrying.
